Slyde are proud to be the longest running tribute to Slade with the very kind endorsement of Noddy Holder (Slade's lead singer) and Don Powell (Slade's powerhouse drummer). Don has even performed with us during 70’s Weekenders and Slade Fan Club conventions.
We are happy to perform at any venue from large stadiums to small private parties and have made several appearances on Radio and Television such as the Trisha Christmas Special to an audience of 1.7 million viewers.

Nobby is at the core of the band and one of only a few rock vocalists in the UK who have the power and vocal range to sustain a performance of almost two hours of 70’s rock classics. His appearance and voice often result in him being mistaken for Noddy Holder himself.
Dave Thrill
Lead & Bass Guitar
Dave dresses to impress and reproduces the unmistakable guitar riffs, which set Slade and other Glam rockers apart from many UK artistes of that era. He wields his Super Yob guitar, with the utmost confidence and skill, safe in the knowledge that the crowd will be stomping their feet from the opening bars to the final song.
Jonny Lea
Bass Guitar
Jonny started playing Bass at the age of 15 gigging around the suburbs of Liverpool with Swag a trio of friends playing Rock n Roll. He played in many bands prior to a family move to Oxfordshire at the age of 32. Since arriving in Oxfordshire his road to Slyde has been interesting, starting with Country and Western, Pop, Indie, AOR, Punk and Classic Rock covers. Best known for spending 8 years playing with The Abingdon based band Loaded and having the pleasure of performing Spinning Wheel Blues with John Coghlan's Quo. Jonny provides the solid pumping bass essential to all our shows.
